10:00 - 13:00 Seminar Overview Negotiation is something that we do all the time and is not only used for business purposes. Negotiation is one of several means that help managers make decisions. It is neither superior nor inferior to other forms of decision making. It is appropriate in some circumstances but not in others. Management is complex and deciding when negotiation is appropriate is just one aspect. The course aims to provide a thorough grounding in the science and practice of negotiation. This three-hour workshop will cover the following: How to gain more from negotiations Communication styles Sending the right signals Assertiveness Influencing skills The phases of negotiating Outcomes of negotiating Negotiating skills Handling different types of opponents Different negotiating styles You will gain: Confidence Better outcomes The art of moving others The ability to influence others Recognising what signals others are sending When to use different styles of negotiation Assertiveness skills CPD Delegates will qualify for 3 CPD hours and certificates will be provided to all attendees. Goodacre Training is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (CISI) as an approved CPD Provider. Members of the CISI can log these training hours on the CISI website.
