10:00 - 13:00 Seminar Overview A derivative instrument, a Contract for Difference (CFD) is an exciting product which has built up a very substantial following, particularly in share trading. The concept behind CFDs applies in fact to a far broader base. This morning seminar will explain what they are and how CFDs are used highlighting the benefits and opportunities that they present. This three-hour workshop will cover the following: What are CFDs? Trading examples – buying and selling Margining requirements The benefits available when trading CFDs Risks and downsides to be aware of Contrasting CFDs with shares The differences and similarities with spread betting Trading tips Operational considerations Who should attend? An introductory level seminar which introduces the subject and is relevant to all personnel, who seek a good understanding of CFD instruments. CPD Delegates will qualify for 3 CPD hours and certificates will be provided to all attendees. Goodacre Training is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (CISI) as an approved CPD Provider. Members of the CISI can log these training hours on the CISI website.
