09:30 - 12:30 Financial Crime – The Holistic Approach Seminar Overview The objective of this workshop is to open the eyes of the MLRO to the wider elements of financial crime, and how understanding the holistic approach to their role will enable MLROs to manage their risks better. It will also cover the interaction of the MLRO role with various other roles within an organisation. This course will be of particular benefit to: New/recently appointed MLROs and deputies New/recently appointed Deputy MLROs Financial Crime Personnel Speaker - Martin Schofield, Senior Consultant, MHA Prior to joining MHA Martin worked in Financial Crime Prevention roles since 2001, most recently as Head of Financial Crime Prevention at Canada Life where he was responsible for ensuring that effective and robust policies and procedures were in place to mitigate the risks posed to the company across jurisdictions from all aspects of financial crime. MHA MHA was founded in 1993 and has since established itself as the foremost specialist advisory and training firm in relation to financial crime prevention and compliance support for the regulated sectors.
