TISA
As an organisation, TISA has moved on considerably since the original Association was established in 1991. In its early days the Association was seen as purely a technical advice service for PEP/ISA managers. Now, however, TISA represents a far greater industry reach including investment schemes of all kinds, cash savings, child trust funds, wraps and platforms, distribution and retirement savings. It has become the leading trade body dealing with tax incentivised savings across the board and, as you will know from your recent participation, now working in the distribution and wrap arenas also. Advisory Councils operate in each of these areas, to advise the Board on policy.
TISA's activities include seminars, lobbying, networking, training and technical information. We have long established and excellent relationships with the Treasury, HMRC and the FSA at senior level and at official grade. We continually work with other trade bodies in order to promote a united front and this provides us with a platform to ensure that our members' opinions and the best interest of the investor are clearly communicated.
