Goodacre has recently partnered with Edwin Coe LLP, to deliver an Employment Law Seminar.
Seminar Overview
This seminar gives a practical outline of what businesses need to know regarding the increasing complex area of employment law. It covers a broad spectrum of issues ranging from employment contract essentials to redundancy to obligations on a transfer of a business. It provides an essential toolkit for employers as to their statutory obligations and how to spot potential disputes in the work place.

Covering all the protected areas and also the special protection for whistleblowers.

Contractual claims, unfair dismissal and redundancy.

Speakers:
Alexandra Carn, a Partner at Edwin Coe, has nine years specialist experience in employment law. She has considerable experience in handling complex breach of contract, unfair dismissal and discrimination claims for large companies often involving multi-party actions. She also advises on various company law matters including shareholders’ duties, director’s disputes and regulatory issues.
Alexandra is a regular contributor to Financial World magazine, a specialist publication for the financial services industry. Alexandra has been interviewed for Radio 5 and recently appeared on BBC Breakfast News.
Emma Sangeelee worked in Publishing Rights before choosing to practice law. She qualified in September 2008 and specialises in Employment Law.
