In complementary presentations, Paddy Osborn Technical Analyst at Beta Group, showed the benefits of avoiding emotions by sticking to technical trading techniques, while Gerald Ashley, Managing Director, St Mawgan & Co, considered the lessons that can be drawn from the many ways that history repeats itself in a characteristically provocative talk, “Four Markets and a Funeral?”
John Hemming, Liberal Democrat MP for Birmingham Yardley and founder of JHC plc, leading provider of settlement systems to stockbrokers in the UK, told of some of his campaigns and achievements as a backbench MP.
